Crystals that benefit each skin type

Crystals and minerals are powerful tools that you can easily incorporate into your skincare regimen. You can place them on the affected areas, carry them with you, or put them under your pillow at night to reap their benefits. We have selected different crystals that work for each skin type below. 

 

Acne-prone

Rose quartz- The minerals in it such as aluminum, iron, titanium, and manganese are said to encourage blood flow and circulation, clear up inflammatory conditions, therefore, aids in soothing acne-prone skin. It also helps with fighting lines and wrinkles, calming and relaxing your complexion.

Amethyst- Poor skin conditions can be a result of poor blood flow. Amethyst contains a high level of iron which purifies the blood. 

Selenite- Believed to be the ultimate cleansing stone that contains sulfur, which helps break up stagnation in the body and unclogs the skin. It is recommended to place one under a pillow or on the nightstand.

 

Aging

Tourmaline - Tourmaline is an energizing stone used to vitalize the skin, helping your complexion to look more radiant and youthful. Similar to a battery, this crystal is positively charged on one end, and negatively charged on the other causing it to warm up when rubbed against the skin.

Clear Quartz - This gemstone purifies and clears out the free radicals and dead skin cells. It improves the clarity of skin by reducing blemishes.

 

Sensitive

Rose quartz - It protects against environmental stress, negativity and strengthens the heart and circulatory system. The gemstone is also used to make face rollers, and when used on the face, it increases lymphatic fluid flow and reduces the appearance of puffiness. 

Pearls - This gemstone has been used in skincare since the dawn of time, especially in Asian cultures. They have numerous healing properties such as restoring the body's natural balance and promote inner wisdom. They are also very effective in treating acne and rosacea.
